I’ll be straight up honest with you, I had never heard of Knipex cutters until about 6 months ago when I needed a cutter to cut off a lock on one of my outside storage sheds. OK, you can make fun of me for losing the key, I won’t mind, my wife has already given me enough grief over it. (Which I certainly will remember the next time I have a Honey do request!) Since I didn’t have any lock cutters, and I certainly didn’t want to spend any money just to do one job, I called a neighbor and luckily he had one. Now let me tell you something, if you’ve ever cut off a good lock, it can take quite a good bit of effort. But when I cut mine off, it was like a hot knife slicing through butter. Whoa! I looked at the brand name and never expected to see the name Knipex. Who? So I figured I better do some investigating into these Knipex cutters and see what the heck else they make!
