The blushing bride made her long-awaited arrival at Westminster Abbey looking elegant and stunning in a long-sleeve lace, ivory and satin gown with flattering V neckline and 8-foot-long train, a simple lace-edged veil and understated (for royal standards) tiara sparkling over her half up, half down hairdo.

Yes, I know. You may actually be wondering just what the heck this funny looking toy really is. This is a Pewi Ybike, a fabulous ride on toy for toddlers. This ride can be used in two ways. Your child can stand at the smiley looking face and push this ride around, strengthening their major muscle groups. Or they can sit on this ride and boogie all around the house with the ease of caster wheels. This is one cool ride that really stands out above all of the other push ride on toys that are available. If my kids were this age I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one for them. It’s the most innovative toy that I’ve seen in quite some time. And to top it off, it’s not all that expensive so it’s great for the pocketbook.
The Razor Rip Rider 360 is designed like a big wheel but is more sturdy and has some extra features. Instead of plastic wheels on the back two wheels they have dual inclined caster wheels and a durable steel frame for extra support. The caster wheels give this ride the most incredible ability to drift and spin in some really cool ways. All your kids have to do is apply the brake to achieve resistance-free spinning. This ride on toy is built to last. The front wheel has a pneumatic tire that won’t go flat. The rear caster wheels are very durable and can be replaced if they wear down. The steel frame won’t bend or break. I’ve seen several of these in my neighborhood and let me tell you, those kids have a blast with this ride.

Black and Decker tool kits just ooze quality and durability. I think my father is a Black & Decker fan. I say this because I’m sure that his work area is full of tools with this signature orange color. Of course I never noticed this or paid any attention as I was growing up but now that I’m looking for some tools for my own house I feel like I can’t overlook the old Black & Decker. Not only does it make me feel comfortable that my father likes them but I’m also loving the variety of the different kits and what appears to be the sought after FireStorm line. So for this new homeowner, a B&D tool kit may just be on my Christmas list!
I’m so excited to be able to attend the Danville Spring Fling as a vendor this year. This is one huge event that draws upwards of 10,000 people. I’m going to take my children’s jewelry, in particular the bottle cap jewelry, and head out for a good time. My mother says she’ll help me so we should have a day of fun and hopefully lots of sales. Finally, this awful winter appears to be over. It was a really long and cold one this year and I’m oh so ready to get out into the yard and get my hands in the soil. I went into the garage today to check out my lawn and gardening supplies and tools only to remember that my garden hand tools are in pretty rough shape. My tools have been around for years before the kids came along and I don’t even want to think about how long that’s been. So it’s just about time to shell out a little bit of money on some great tools for my flower beds and landscaping. I came across this great site that has a nice breakdown of the different types of gardening tools available. I’ve got to say that my absolute favorites are the pink sets – that’s what I’m aiming for!

I don’t know about you but I think that hippies were pretty cool. You know, all that peace and love was awesome and it’s amazing how popular this genre is today. Have you noticed that every teen and tween out there is covered in peace sign clothing and jewelry? That’s so very neat and that’s just one reason why hippie costumes are so popular for the Halloween season. The 60’s and 70’s were very cool times and Hallow’s Eve in the perfect time to have some fun with your favorite costumes of that time. My favorites are the hippie costumes like this one. I tried looking in my mom’s closet for some appropriate clothes so I could make my own costume but she obviously wasn’t a flower child so I started looking at costumes and found these. I know, I’m so far ahead of the holiday but isn’t it nice to know that you’ve got your costume lined up before it sells out!

I’ll be straight up honest with you, I had never heard of Knipex cutters until about 6 months ago when I needed a cutter to cut off a lock on one of my outside storage sheds. OK, you can make fun of me for losing the key, I won’t mind, my wife has already given me enough grief over it. (Which I certainly will remember the next time I have a Honey do request!) I looked at the brand name and never expected to see the name Knipex. Who? So I figured I better do some investigating into these Knipex cutters and see what the heck else they make!
Did you ever watch the movie Lady Hawk? Well, not only is Matthew Broderick too cute for words but that big and gorgeous black horse was a Fresian. These horses are just amazing and incredible. They’re loaded with long black manes and feathering on their legs. I think they move just incredibly and they are just too majestic for words. They originate from Holland and they’re wonderful dressage and carriage horses. Now, my all time dream is to own one of them but wow, for about $25,000 they’re just a little bit out of my budget!

Computer hand tools are great to have around the house. You know, it’s not always necessary to haul your computer down the road to the local repair facility. There are actually quite a few things that you can fix on your own like changing or adding DVD drives for example.
The best way to buy these tools are in the form of a tool kit because you really can’t use your regular hand tools for the computer. They’re just not going to work the same. These kits are relatively inexpensive and my husband thought they were great once he actually had them in hand!
If your kids are anything like mine then Toy Story is one of the coolest things ever to hit the big screen. Who can live without Woody, Buzz, and that enthusiastic little Jessie in the house? Well, you’ll be thrilled to know that there’s the cutest little tot rod out there just covered in Toy Story characters and it’s the Toy Story Power Wheels.
Is this ride cute or what? I think it’s the most adorable ride to hit the market in a long time and I wouldn’t hesitate to let my granddaughter drive it. I’m really not a tool girl so when my father said he wanted a titanium framing hammer for his birthday I had no clue what he was talking about. So I headed up to the local hardware store for a little lesson and I was pleasantly surprised to find out how cool they were. They’re so lightweight that there’s really no doubt that they’ll save a lot on a person’s are when they have to swing a hammer for any length of time. Now, the only thing that really a little bit of a downfall was the fact that these hammers are a little bit expensive. In fact, they can be a lot expensive. So what us kids did was get together with our money and we were able to get him a really nice one. Mission accomplished!
