The Sexy Frisky Freshman Costume

My daughter is all about sexy when it comes to a Halloween costume. Last year she opted for Lady Gaga but this year she’s telling me she wants to be a sexy school girl. Now I have to say that I never even realized that such a costume existed. I mean, who would want to dress like a Catholic girl. At least that’s what I thought until she started to show me some of the costumes. Her favorite at this moment is the Frisky Freshman Costume and let me tell you this is one awesome costume. It’s a little bit plaid, a little bit naughty, and a whole lot of sexy. Yes, it’s a little bit short but you know what?  It looks awesome and the best part was that it didn’t cost and arm and a leg!

 

The Coolest Adams Family Costume

So I was settled in front of the TV the other night and what came on but a bunch of the old Addams Family reruns. Now I always thought that this was actually kind of a quirky and fun show but I couldn’t stop laughing at the antics. I don’t know…maybe I’m getting old or something but every one of these spooky characters has a personality that makes them shine. So I told my husband that I thought it would be mighty cool to wear an Adams Family Costume for Halloween this year, Morticia in particular. And guess what? He thought it was such a great idea that he’s going to go as Homer!  I can’t wait to get to our friends costume party because we’re really going to stand out this year!

The Amazing Edward Scissorhands Costume

I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve always been an Edward Scissorhands fan. Maybe it was because Johnny Depp did such a good job of portraying this little misfit hedge trimmer, or maybe it was just the fact that there was a little bit of a love story to the whole picture. So given the fact that I thought the movie was so cool, there’s no question that I love this amazing Edward Scissorhands Costume.  Just look at the detail that comes with this cool Halloween outfit with all of its straps and buckles and leather appearance. When you add that funky wig with the fly away hair along with those scissor gloves, you’ve got one Gothic costume that you can really have fun with. It’s scary and it’s funky, just what we love best when it comes to a little bit of Goth. So call me a little prejudiced if you want but this is one of my all time favorites.   

 

The Coolest Realistic Vampire Fangs

So my son is insisting on being a vampire for Halloween this year (yes, we talk about Halloween very early in our house).  He wants to dress as the creepiest and the scariest vamp in the neighborhood so of course that comes complete with the cape, the makeup, and a great set of fangs. Being a frugal mother, I was all ready to buy the cheapest pair that I could find but he insisted that they had to be a good set and they had to be realistic looking. So after some research we found out that he was right – not all fangs are created equal!  So we ended up with a cool set of Scarecrow realistic vampire fangs and I have to say that I think they’re just awesome. In fact, we’re going to keep them for many years to come, I’m just sure of it!

 

Master Tool Sets Are Just Amazing

I don’t think I ever realized just how cool a master tool set really was. I really just thought that they were incredibly expensive and probably not worth their money. But you know what, they’re really a great choice for those who are serious about their profession and, of course, have the money to spend on a set.

So what’s so great when it comes to master tool sets? Well, the most important thing is that these sets are complete just as they come and they’re actually less money than trying to buy each piece individually over the years. My morning walk

This morning I took my dog for a walk and who did I run into but Holey Moley Mr Frank. Now, I haven’t seen Frank in the longest time so I was really surprised to see what he looked like these days. In fact, he’s so fit and dapper looking that even the dog was taken by him. And he sure was nice to talk to also. I think I’m going to start planning my walk at the same time every day because it sure would be nice to run into him again. We’ve got a lot of catching up to do!
